Releasing today!!!

Book: CHASING MISS SIN
Genre: Contemporary Romance / Romantic Comedy
Author: JENNA LYNN HODGE
Amazon: http://a.co/8cJMMgP Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35822108-chasing-miss-sin
Author Bio:
Jenna Lynn Hodge currently resides in sunny Los Angeles, California. A hopeless romantic who hasn’t had the greatest relationship experiences, she writes what she hopes everyone someday will have. With sassy, fiery female characters and strong male leads with an overbearing protection for their female, she pours her heart and soul into each story. She writes for her readers; her dream to make a difference in the lives of others in the way she knows best.

Book Blurb:
My name is Ellie Sinclair and I’m a bestselling erotica author who just so happens to be a virgin. Let’s face it, I’m a paradox in the writing world. But the best part? No one knows who I am, and I prefer it that way.

I can pretty much be described as a Chihuahua in human form. I shake when I’m nervous and am more than content at curling up and hiding from the rest of the world.

I always told myself that someday I would become more like the characters that I wrote about- more confident and outgoing, not afraid to take a risk and put myself out there, but if I’m being honest, I really wasn’t holding my breath.

That is, till Chase entered the picture.

Author Interview with Lindsay Detwiler

Author Interview with Lindsay Detwiler

Name: Lindsay Detwiler

What first inspired you to write?

I’ve always loved writing. As a child, I filled countless journals with stories, and I even started a chapter book in sixth grade. However, I started my author journey in college. I was taking a summer class called The Literature of Health & Healing. We talked a lot about illness, terminal disease, and dreams in that class. One night, on the drive home, I started thinking about my own bucket list and dreams. Writing a book was at the top of my list. I went home that night and started writing what would become my first novel, Voice of Innocence. I really didn’t expect it to go anywhere. In fact, I didn’t tell anyone about it until years later when it was drafted.

How do you come up with ideas for your stories?
Real life gives a lot of inspiration if you are willing to look. Some stories often start with characters—I come up with characters I think would be interesting and would lend themselves to conflict. Many of my stories, however, start with a what if question. For my latest release, Remember When, my husband and I were driving home on a snowy backroad in the middle of an ice storm. The question surfaced: What if we would wreck right here? How long until someone would find us? Would we be able to survive? This prompted me to write Jessica and Todd’s story, which is about a couple who wrecks on a snowy backroad and is in a life-or-death situation.

What question do you hate the most about being a writer?
There’s not really a question I get asked the most that I hate. I enjoy talking about my writing and know people are curious. Perhaps the most common question I get is: How much money are you making? For me, it’s truly never been about the money. When I first started this journey, I never imagined I would be published. Thus, it’s always been about the love of telling the stories, not about numbers.

Are you indie or traditionally published?I’m published with the amazing, lovely Hot Tree Publishing 

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? No, I haven’t. I prefer having a publisher who knows the market and can guide me.

What are you working on now?I just finished writing the second book in my Lines in the Sand series. I am now working on a novella as well as the third novel in the series.

What is your most recent/upcoming release? My next release is Inked Hearts, which is book one in the Lines in the Sand series. It releases on October 21st with Hot Tree Publishing and is set in Ocean City, Maryland… and features a tattooed hunk named Jesse. I’m super excited for this one!

Author Interview with Natalina Reis

Author Interview with Natalina Reis

Name   :Natalina Reis

What first inspired you to write? I've been writing since I was a kid. I've always been an introvert and I was very shy as a child and found it hard to express my thoughts and opinions orally, so I wrote them down. It's always been a release, some type of therapy for me. I also loved to read even as a little kid (and even before I could read, my grandma read me fairy tales and other stories) which made me want to write the stories that conjured up in my head and create magic.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories? They come from pretty much everywhere and everything. An overheard conversation at the coffee shop, a detail in a movie, a line from a song, a picture, a sound...To give you an idea, I was sitting at the coffee shop one morning and this guy dressed in some strange Americana clothes came in. He ended up in my next story, lol.

What question do you hate the most about being a writer? Not so much a question as more of a statement when upon discovering I'm a writer, people immediately say, "Oh I've been thinking about writing a book too. I have a lot of ideas." Even worse when the same person then admits to have never read a book in their lives (true story).

Are you indie or traditionally published? Published by a small publisher, so technically traditional.

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? I will be self-publishing a sci-fi romance in the not-so-distant future. Working on cover graphics with a designer as we speak.

What are you working on now? I'm writing the sequel to Desert Jewel, a romantic fantasy published by Hot Tree Publishing.

What is your most recent/upcoming release? My most recent release was Lavender Fields, a M/M Paranormal romance which was published earlier this month and I have a rom-com titled Blind Magic coming out later this year, in November.

Author Interview with Angelica Charles

Author Interview with Angelica Charles

Author name and pen name : Angelica Charles

What inspired me?  I used to play school in the summers with my neighbor kids. I played the teacher and they were my students. While they were doing their math, I would write stories to read them for story time. I have always liked to write stories. I finally got brave enough in 2016 to publish my first novella.

How do I get ideas?  I find inspiration from all sorts of places.  Some of the things in my stories really happen to me.  Others are from dreams. Like the opening scene in Condo 1610.  It is about the main character going for a massage.  I actually dreamed that opening scene happened to me. I thought it was so funny I wanted to share it. I never know when inspiration will strike.  I normally have more ideas than I have time to write them.

What question do I hate to be asked?  Because I write erotic love scenes in my books many ask if they come from life.  Men contact me all the time on line to see if I am interested in acting out my stories with them. So, I want to set the record straight.  Not many of the people I have met that write erotic books, are interested in acting them out. I have been married to the same man for 28 years.  We are very happy.

How am I published?  I am an indie author.  I am only on amazon right now.

Have you tried another form of publishing?  I have not tried any other forms of publishing.  There are good and bad points to both.  Being an indie author and publisher there is a lot more marketing to do.  That takes time I could be writing the next book.  Traditional publishing would be better with the marketing.  I like creative control of my stories.  If you work with a traditional publisher sometimes you lose that control.

I am excited about my next book.  It is a collection of short stories about hot male nurses and the women that fall for them.  It will contain five short stories around forty pages each.  It is called My RN.  It was inspired from a scene I witnessed play out in an ER while checking on my grandmother.  There was a nice looking male nurse working.  There was this cute little red-haired gal probably early twenties.  She leaned across the nurse’s desk. In her best sexy voice, she said, “I know what RN stands for.”  He said, “Yes, I am a registered nurse.”  She said, “No, Really Naughty.”  I thought I could write a story about a hot male nurse.  That story turned into my book, “Designs on Him,” and five short stories about male nurses.

My recent release?  Condo 1610.  It is about an accountant that goes to the beach to see if she wants to start a new life there.  She meets a hot stock broker who is there for the same reason. They have an amazing time.  Then reality gets in their way of being together.  He is investigated for insider trading.  There is a murder.  You wonder if they will ever find their way back to each other or if the time they shared in Condo 1610 will be all they ever have together.

Author Interview with Amy K. McClung

Author Interview with Amy K. McClung

Name: Amy K McClung

What first inspired you to write? My husband. Back in 2011, I lost a job I’d been at for over eleven years. Though I had gotten another job in less than a week, I was out of work for three weeks going a little stir crazy. While on the phone with my husband one day I was talking about a show I’d been watching and how I’d have written the plot differently. He suggested I write a story of my own to take my mind of things. So I started working on a paranormal piece about a girl named Parker Harris that eventually became a 250 page book. From that moment on I realized writing was a great way to escape reality and relieve stress.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories? Different places. My idea for The Parker Harris Series came from a tv show I’d been watching about vampires, even though Parker is a werewolf, it inspired my first book.  I have a YA Contemporary Romance, Promises in Stone, which was inspired by a  Taylor Swift song. Originally it was written as a piece for an anthology that fell through and I turned it into a longer book from there. As for my Southern Devotion Series, those books were inspired by my friends. Many of the characters were modeled after some of my closest friends. Across the Way was inspired by a song by Taylor Hicks called Places I’ve Been. I joke that apparently singers named Taylor inspire me to write! Music, and just life in general, inspire my ideas.

What question do you hate the most about being a writer? I can’t really think of one. No one’s ever asked me anything that made me cringe.

Are you indie or traditionally published?  Both. My YA books are all self-published. My Adult books are all published with Hot Tree Publishing now. Originally two of my books, For the Love of Gracie & Curves in the Road were self published before they were taken on by Hot Tree.

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? Currently I do both self-pub and traditional. My YA novels will all stay self-published. I have found pluses with both sides of the business.

What are you working on now? Several things. For my self-published books, I am working on a YA Fantasy novel. It’s the next installment of my Crispin Sinclair Chronicles. Book 1 is The Shimmering Pool, this one will be The Glowing Sphere. Also, I am working on Book 4 of my NA Contemporary Romance series, The Southern Devotion Series. And I am working on a companion story for my Adult Contemporary Romance, Across the Way.

What is your most recent/upcoming release? My most recent release was Curves in the Road, Book 2 in The Southern Devotion Series. It’s a story about second chances, a single dad looking for love, and making sacrifices for friends.

Pen Name if different: Jack Walker

What first inspired you to write? I always enjoyed doing essays in English, for various reasons but most notably because I was a voracious bookworm as a kid. I started mainly with Science fiction, and read as much as I could find. I still class old-school sci-fi as an absolute must for any person to read. I did actually start a science fiction book one day in high school and wrote about 100 pages of a4 paper in pen. I gave it to my teacher at the time to read through and she said I had an excellent imagination and should be a writer. That was where I started... sort of... I lost that original story, but my passion for story telling was always there. Many years later all the hype of FSOG was what inspired me to put pen to paper (PC). I wrote for a few friends to comment on and they loved it. That was where I then began writing in earnest.
How do you come up with the ideas for your stories? It can be anything from a picture, a random though and sometimes just something someone says. Literally anything at all...

What question do you hate the most about being a writer? How I got started... lol, No, not really I love answering questions!

Are you indie or traditionally published? Indie only... (so far)

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? No, not yet.

What are you working on now? about six different things at present... lol

What is your most recent/upcoming release? I am at present trying to do a compilation of short pieces and poetry that I have done over the last few years.

Author Interview with Mila Raphael

Author Interview with Mila Raphael

Name: Mila Raphael

Pen Name if different: N/A

What first inspired you to write?

I never planned to write, not in a million years –lol-, so I can’t really say what inspired me to write, but I can tell you how it happened: In 2014, in the middle of a summer night, I had a dream, I woke up from it and wrote down in a notebook –around 46 pages-, and I forgot about it; fast-forward to May 2017, and I found the notebook by random, while reading through it, I realized my character’s story needed to be told.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories?

Like I said, on the previous answer, they mostly come in dreams. The one in 2014 was quite vivid. A Russian enforcer was speaking to me about his zolotse –his little piece of gold- and how he was from the Bratva and she was CIA, but what they felt for each other was stronger than any brotherhood or Government agency, and would span for a lifetime.

What question do you hate the most about being a writer?

I am not the most known author so I don’t think I have been asked many things, but the one everyone seems to want to know is: How easy is it to publish a book? It’s not. I never thought it was, but I never knew how much it takes emotionally –and financially- but also how many people are involved to make that “dream”, take that rough draft a make it a book.

Are you indie or traditionally published?

Indie.

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing?

No.

What are you working on now?

I am 80% done with my book Double Lies.

What is your most recent/upcoming release?

My first book was released July 21st, and it’s titled Double Life

Author Interview with Katheen Eyke

Author Interview With Kathleen Eyke

Name: Kathleen Eyke

Pen Name if different: Kami Larke

What first inspired you to write? There's lots of things. With the Southern Family Ties series, it was the stories told to me by one of the ladies living in the neighborhood. The stories were about her grandmother and her grandmother's teacher, who lived around the time of the American Civil War. With the Kami Larke books (which are NOT clean and wholesome, hence the use of a pen name to keep the two separate), I wanted to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories? The Southern Family Ties series started out very loosely based on stories told to me about life in my area by one of the oldest residents of my town before she passed away. The characters just sorta took on a life of their own and started demanding their own books. I’m now up to 11 books in the series, with 3 written, 2 more outlined and the premise for the rest written down.

The contemporary books are drawn from life, and sometimes like with YOLO, just a random thought crossing my brain.

What question do you hate the most about being a writer? I hate when people ask what I do with my time. I’m forever writing, or doing something writing related. I may look like I’m surfing the internet, but usually it’s some form of research, name searches, research into historical times, looking into the occult, the list goes on. I also hate when people ask me when I'm going to get "a real job" because they don't consider writing a real job.

Are you indie or traditionally published? My #Southernfamilyties series is traditionally published, while my Kami Larke work is indie for now.

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? I had done indie publishing before I was traditionally published, but I think having a publisher has worked out for the best for me. I have learned so much that I never would have learned on my own.

What are you working on now? To the delight of my #sporkarmy, I am working on book 4 in the #southernfamilyties series, which is about Jerome. I also have two books under Kami Larke that are finished and one is set to release in the next couple weeks.

What is your most recent/upcoming release? I have two books in the #southernfamilyties series pending, Family Values (Liz) and Family Lessons (Edmund). I also have my indie book written under the name Kami Larke, Her Only Defense

Author Interview with L. Anne Wooley

Author Interview with L. Anne Wooley
Name:   L. Anne Wooley

What first inspired you to write?   I had written poetry when I was younger, but in 2004 I was encouraged by a friend to read Natalie Goldbergs “Writing Down the Bones.”   It rekindled the love I had for writing.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories?   There is a quote by Harlan Ellison about that.  People ask me where I get my ideas. I always tell them, “Schenectady.” They look at me with confusion and I say, “Yeah, there’s this ‘idea service’ in Schenectady and every week like clockwork they send me a fresh six-pack of ideas for 25 bucks.” Every time I say that at a college lecture there’s always some schmuck who comes up to me and wants the address of the service.”   But for me, ideas come from snippets of conversations (Once wrote a story based on this line, “I’d sell my body to pay the rent,”  Or prompts in books/groups on facebook.  Writers Digest has awesome ones, one became the basis for Stormraevyn.   But ideas come to me all the time, and say, “Write meeeeeeeee.”    So I have an google sheet that is called, “Shiny New Ideas.”  As I’m all about the shiny!

What question do you hate the most about being a writer?   That’s a toughie.  But I’ll use one that I get for when people would tell me at bazaars and jewelry shows that can also cross over to writing.  “That doesn’t look hard at all, I could do it.”   Well, the best response to that was from someone else, “Yes, but will you go out get the materials, and do the work?”  Any artist of any style of art, pours more than their creativity into their works.  There are blood sweat and tears.

Are you indie or traditionally published?   I actually am published in anthologies.  One is a publishing group, the other is indie.  I plan on going indie with my novel Stormraevyn.

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing?  I haven’t submitted a novel yet.   Though depending on the success through Indie publishing, I might try Traditional.

What are you working on now?   Several different anthology pieces.  Though I did the introduction (an in memoriam) for another charity anthology for Bi Polar Disorder research (in Carrie Fishers honor).  I have a fairy tale mash up story that I’m writing as a screenplay style (it might be a hybrid play/short story).  Then Volume 3 of The Longest Nightwatch, is coming up too.   So I’m really busy, and am trying to sneak time in for Stormraevyn, several of the characters there are almost refusing to speak to me!

What is your most recent/upcoming release?   Not sure when it is coming out, but Drowned in Moonlight the Carrie Fisher one should be next.

Author Interview with Rusty Trimble

Author Interview with Rusty Trimble

Name: Rusty Trimble
Pen Name: Steve McGovern (mature writing) and R. D. Trimble (YA writing)
What first inspired you to write? I was inspired to write early on by my mom and dad writing stories.  I always wanted to write my own and when I read the Elric series by Michael Moorcock, I was determined someday to become an author…it just took a while.  When my son Andrew was 2, he hated baths, so I would create little “bath shows” with action figures to entertain him.  He asked me to make them into books and that is how I got started.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories? I came up for the idea for my upcoming book Tammany Hall (release date 08/13) by reading a lot of Nelson DeMille.  It helped me spawn the idea of a writer who is hired to write the biography of a dying Mafia Don.  For my upcoming YA novel, Middle School Madness, there are a bunch of middle school novels out there and my son asked me to write my own and it has been a lot of work, but a lot of fun.

What question do you hate the most about being a writer? There is no question I hate as a writer

Are you indie or traditionally published? I am mainly indie-published, but I do use a publisher for my Andrew Chronicles and Andrew Teen Chronicles series for now.

Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? I have used Createspace and lulu as a self-published author and my publisher “Books You Can Trust” publishing for the ones above.

What are you working on now? I am working on finishing Middle School Madness, hopefully for a Black Friday release.  I am also working on Domino Effect, a dystopian crime thriller set on Mars.

What is your most recent/upcoming release? Tammany Hall is my most recent/upcoming release, 08/13/2017 and will be sold at Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore.
