Author Interview with Rusty Trimble

What first inspired you to write? My oldest son is Autistic and while I had always wanted to be an author, the fact that he hated reading, inspired me to write stories with him in it and the rest is history!
How do you come up with the ideas for your stories? A variety of places. Many of them come from speaking with my children, a few of them are based on old video games with permission of the original owner.
What question do you hate the most about being a writer? "How much $ have you made?"
Are you indie or traditionally published? Both, but primarily Indie for the most part.
Have you ever tried the other style of publishing? I have done both, but right now am mainly indie
What are you working on now? Adventureland which features an Autistic hero in a sword and sorcery YA story and Middle School Madness Book 2 - a sequel to Middle School Madness Book 1 which came out in March.
What is your most recent/upcoming release? Middle School Madness Book one - A Strange First Week
